About FMR

Launched in 2020 by Daniel Peters, The (Fashion) Minority Report aims to increase diversity within the fashion industry which has long had a problem with diversity across hires of ethnic minorities, people with disabilities and female professionals.

The (Fashion) Minority Report is an opportunity to push for reform of the industry by championing existing talent and nurturing future fashion stars.

Our business models center on strategy and workshop implementation, with repeat custom and sales growth by way of client association.

But the face of DEI is changing. Diverse consultants with lived experience are being hired to lead the conversation. Resulting in a shift in culture that is authentic and not performative.

FMR is driven by a team of experts from diverse walks of life, positioning us as an industry leader in an untapped sector.

The Founder – Daniel Peters

Peckham born and bred, Daniel holds years of experience within the fashion industry, having previously worked at Burberry, Selfridges and The British Fashion Council.

It’s during those years that he crafts his marketeer’s mind and simultaneously experiences first hand the lack of diversity within the industry.

From this experience he created the (Fashion) Minority Report, which aims to hold the fashion industry accountable and create positive and meaningful change.

Alongside this, Peters  sits on the conscious inclusion committee of the British Fashion Council and is a trustee for the charity Relate.

He also runs his own menswear-clothing brand ‘Your Samples Collective’, designed to exemplify the changing face of masculinity.
