Your team can often be faced with racial, misogynistic, homophobic, ableist or gender based commentary from colleagues, or consumers that they feel unable to challenge.
Our workshop "Dealing with Difficult Conversations" is a 75 minute, action-oriented session designed to equip participants with practical tools to address and counter negative language and behaviours in the workplace.
Participants will engage in interactive discussions and role-playing scenarios to practise responding to harmful remarks or discriminatory behaviours.
The workshop will cover key skills such as active listening, de-escalation techniques, and how to assertively and respectfully challenge inappropriate comments.
Attendees will also learn how to address microaggressions and bias in real-time, fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment.
The session will provide actionable solutions for creating a workplace culture where such conversations are handled constructively, and employees feel empowered to speak up when they encounter discriminatory behaviour.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have concrete tools and confidence to navigate these challenging interactions, contributing to a more respectful and equitable workplace.
This session is essential for fostering an environment where all employees feel safe and supported, regardless of their background or identity.
